2x2 Relay re-invented to clelebrate 50 years of Orienteering in the Red Kiwi and the wider Wellington area, followed by 'Massive prizes' (see below for prize categories), a barbecue, reminiscing, a Retro O costume competition, maybe some speeches and birthday cake.

The relay will consist of 2 persons per team, each running 2 legs, with winning times on all legs of 25-30 minutes.
Each team will run their courses on the Prickly Sands map one after the other, followed by their courses through the Waitarere village.

Start time for Relay 10.30 am. Briefing will be at about 10.20am.
The barbecue/party will be at the domain in Waitarere in and around the Scout Hall immediately after the relay- from 12.30-1 ish.

There will be a special on-the-day White course for M10, W10.

Lots of combinations of teams available so get your thinking caps on (and also for those hoarders out there, dig out your old O gear).
Examples of teams are M70+ and M12, W18 and W60-69, W12 and M14, and anything else. We will organise your combination of maps for you.
