Best of luck to our Red Kiwi and Palmerston North Boys High School and Cornerstone School competitors who are entered to run in the NZ Secondary Schools Orienteering Championships, starting with a Sprint race tomorrow (Friday), a Long Distance race on Saturday and finishing with a Relay on Sunday.
Jakob and his family have been very busy giving these students a lot of training. Go well!
In Austria, Jakob has a couple of races to go in the Graz region of Austria. He will then be preparing to compete in the Brno area in the Czech Republic with other NZ teammates in the European Youth Orienteering Championships which are from the 17th to 20th July.
Once he is home, he, with his family, will be finishing preparation for the Manawatu Schools Teams Championships, which will this year be in the form of a Rogaine. The Rogaine is to be held at an as yet undisclosed location in Palmerston North on Friday 8th August.
